The National Capital Section of AACE International is pleased to announce our 2016 Scholarship Award Recipients who were evaluated on their academic resume and extra curricular activities. Each individual also provided an exemplary essay response to the question "Why is Planning a Crucial Element in Project Controls":
$2,000 Scholarship Award Recipient
Nicholas was a Senior in the School of Architecture & Planning and School of Engineering at The Catholic University of America at the time of his scholarship application submission. Nicholas was awarded the top scholarship issued by AACEI-NCS in 2016.
$1,500 Scholarship Award Recipient
Cameron was a Freshman in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Program at The Johns Hopkins University at the time of his scholarship application submission. Cameron was awarded the second place scholarship award for 2016.
$1,000 Scholarship Award Recipient
Spenser was a graduate student at McDonough School of Business/McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University at the time of his scholarship application submission. Spenser was awarded the third place scholarship award for 2016.
