From the President:
Thank you to all who attended our April "AACE-Insiders" Program. It was a great interactive discussion where we learned about the DC Water Clean Rivers Program and how a small team can effectively manage and report on the $2.7 billion program. A special thanks to Allen Chilmeran & Shohaab Kadiani from the program for educating us, and to Bob Freas and Exponent for moderating and hosting the evening. We will make their presentation and overview video available to those interested.
Please remember to sign up for our May 16 program, "Delivering Meaningful Project Insights through Data-Driven Analysis", where Ashok Iyengar, Chief Planner at Bechtel, will offer his expertise on the most common causes of project failure, as well as how data-driven analysis and smart applications can provide project professionals with more meaningful project insights and improve the overall likelihood of project success. We will also have students and faculty from schools around the region including George Washington University, Georgetown, Catholic University, and the University of Maryland at this event, so it will be a great networking / recruitment opportunity as well for new young talent. EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS WEDNESDAY 5/10/17.
