Site Tour - Museum of the Bible

  • Clark Construction Field Office 409 3rd Street Southwest Washington, DC, 20024 United States (map)

Join AACEI-NCS on a tour of the new Museum of the Bible, located in SW DC, by the field team from Clark Construction. We will learn how the schedule and cost are managed before being led through the 430,000 square foot museum that will explore the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible with a construction cost of $237,000,000.

The project scope ranges site stabilization, building demolition, conversion of a historic 1922 refrigerated warehouse, to new construction, and renovation of currently occupied space in the adjacent building. This LEED certified project will include a 500-seat performance hall, ballroom, restaurant, and function spaces. These new spaces will be contained within an iconic rooftop element featuring a curving aluminum framed glazed curtain wall assembly with channel glass infill, skylights, zinc batten panel roofing, and a green roof system shaped to look like open pages of the Bible from above.

Space on the tour is limited to 20 people, so register today before tickets run out!

Lunch is included in the price of the ticket.
